Antique Victorian Solid Gold Blue Enamel Diamond Hinged Tube Bangle Bracelet Wow! Unusual Victorian solid gold bracelet.

Lovely Blue diamond studded enamel center medallion, flanked by 4 prong set diamonds. All of excellent color and clarity. The medallion is about 3/8 wide.

The weight is 12.11 grams. Good clasp with safety chain. Excellent condition, we do note viewed under a loupe one of the diamonds surrounding the halo of the medallion is gone. So unusual and very very nice!

As far as gold karat it is between 10k and 14k. It is marked 14k but when we acid tested the piece with the 14k acid it started to fade; it held strongly with the 10k acid. So the gold Karat is between 10k and 14k based on our acid test.

I do believe it is closer to 14k than 10k. It is quite usual in Victorian jewelry that the purity of the gold often had slight variances in the marked karat values.
