Antique Bressan French enamel bracelet

  

Magnificent antique 19th century, silver gilt or silver vermeil hallmarked French Bressan enamel bracelet with faceted colored pastes. Hand applied 18k gold leaf details and lovely ornate lacey mounting. A beautiful renaissance revival piece each enamel plaque was individually hand decorated in bright colors : cobalt blue. Robbin egg blue, black backgrounds with red, cream and gold leaf details in the very unique design of Bressan enamel. The multicolor enamel plaques are set on close back mountings.

Vermeil or silver gilt is gold over solid silver. One little white dot is missing. 17cm long, 3.5 cm wide.
