Victorian 14k Two Tone Gold Bracelet Tiered Panel Checkered Enamel Tulips Pearls

  
Up for sale is this truly amazing antique 14k two tone gold bracelet. Adorable cuff hinged bracelet hand made in Austria circa late 19th century. This is a classic piece of Victorian jewellery in transition to Art Nouveau. It is in the form of a bangle opening a side hinge with a push-in tong integrated clasp and safety chain. The upper section in an unusual and futuristic design for the period I believe inspired by upcoming Art nouveau movement. This is 3-tier tiered panel decorated with seed pearls and color rhinestones.

Lower tier with rose gold checkered motif with black enamel and seed pearls in prong setting, middle tier in satin yellow gold with blue and red rhinestones seed pearls and wave motif openwork. The third tier with relief tulip flowers and lozenge on triangular ornament in rose gold and seed pearls. The bangle band in rose gold polished finish. Truly rare piece can be attributed to symbolism jewellery style. It is now looking for a new home.

The bracelet is near excellent preserved with slightly traces o. F age, some insignificant surface micro scratches and few low dings. Hinges and clasp are excellent and no missing gems, black enamel without imperfection. Marked on lock tong with 14ct. Stamp and also inspect by profession jeweller to confirm gold purity.
